PEARC25 T-shirt Design For Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC)

Target: Young adults attending the PEARC25 Conference in Columbus, Ohio, as part of the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) STEM Program in October 2025, participated in various workshops and tutorials led by TACC. PEARC25 is a premier research and data conference.

Role: As the t-shirt designer, I knew we needed to include the butterfly on the shirt as part of the branding, as well as use a limited color palette. But I also wanted to represent data and the STEM program in a fun way that was appropriate for the audience. This conference was held in Columbus, Ohio, so I used binary code to spell out “OHIO” and filled the letters with it. I was in charge of working with the printer for press checks before this was mass printed.
